Groceries Care (“we,” “our,” “us”) is the official mobile app and website of Groceries Care PVT LTD. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your choices when you use the Service.

  • Provided by you: name, email, phone, password, delivery/billing addresses, delivery notes, cart and order details, messages to support.
  • Automatically: device model, OS/app version, IP address, timestamps, crash logs, pages/screens viewed, taps/gestures, session length, performance metrics. Approximate/precise location only if you enable it (for nearby delivery areas and better ETAs).
  • From service providers: aggregated analytics and performance metrics. No payment data collected (Cash on Delivery only).

  • Provide the Service and fulfill orders; create/manage accounts; authenticate logins; send order and delivery updates.
  • Customer support; troubleshooting; fraud prevention; Service security.
  • Improve features, performance, and user experience (analytics and diagnostics).
  • Marketing with your consent (you can opt out at any time).
  • Compliance with legal obligations (tax, accounting, regulatory).

We process your data based on performance of a contract, our legitimate interests (e.g., security, improvement), your consent (e.g., marketing, optional permissions), and legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information. We share only as necessary with trusted providers who help deliver the Service:

  • Delivery/courier partners (address and contact for delivery).
  • Hosting, analytics, and customer support providers.

Payments: We currently use Cash on Delivery (COD) only; no online payment processors are used.

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements, or to resolve disputes. When no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

  • Manage app permissions (Location, Camera/Photos, Notifications) in your device settings.

The Service is not directed to children under 13/16. If you believe a child provided personal data, contact us so we can delete it.

If information is transferred outside your country, we apply appropriate safeguards (e.g., contractual clauses) consistent with applicable law.
